Quality Patient Care and Patient Safety are among the most important areas of healthcare service. A hospital’s mandate is to provide the highest possible standards on these areas.

St. Frances Cabrini Medical Center is committed to serving the patients with quality care every time they needed healthcare services. This belief brought the hospital to a quality standard accreditation journey recently. That arduous journey of hard work and dedicated service finally paid off with the recent accreditation and certification by the prestigious National Accreditation Board for Hospitals and Healthcare International (NABHI).

The National Accreditation Board for Hospitals (NABH) is an accrediting body

established in 2006 as a constituent body of the Quality Council of India (QCI).

It is equivalent to Joint Commission International (JCI) and other international standards. NABH International is the international wing of NABH. An NABH-International – MARK OF EXCELLENCE is provided to an organization based on the evaluation of the following standards: aspects of service delivery like patient’s rights and education, infection control practices, trained and experienced staff, infrastructure, environment safety, processes and controls, statutory and regulation compliances.

Our patients are the ultimate beneficiaries from our NABH Accreditation. With this accreditation, comes the elevated assurance of our commitment to high quality care and safety. Our patients will get services by credential medical staff and their rights will always be respected and protected. Patient satisfaction is continuously evaluated thus stimulating constant improvementon our part.

And as an NABH Accredited hospital, we will always stand by these guiding principles:

  • Commitment to create a culture of quality, patient safety, efficiency and accountability towards patient care.

  • Establishment of protocols and policies as per National/International Standards for patient care, medication management, consent process, patient safety, clinical outcomes, medical records, infection control and staffing.

  • Patients are treated with respect, dignity and courtesy at all times.

  • Patients are involved in care planning and decision making.

  • Patients are treated by qualified and trained staff.

  • Feedback from patients is sought and complaints (if any) are addressed.

  • Transparency in billing and availability of tariff list.

  • Continuous monitoring of its services for improvement.

  • Commitment to prevent adverse events that may occur.

We are the first cancer institute in Region 4, and now we are the first NABHI Accredited Hospital in the Philippines and Southeast Asia. Truly, this milestone is part of our continuing commitment to serve you better.
