Our New Laboratory

We have recently opened our new laboratory located at the Mezzanine Floor-Pathology Department. It boasts of new, modern machines operated by our competent and well-trained laboratory team. Accuracy and precision are ensured and observed all the time.

Standard practice of clinical diagnosis combined with innovative methods of gathering samples by our anatomical and clinical pathologists, our patients are assured of accuracy and reliability of results done at the quickest turn-around-time possible.

We have also started on the fully-automated unique patient sample bar coding system which further helps us ensure a faster turn-around time with minimal error probability.

We are currently offering Clinical Chemistry using the Cobas CS 11 to give you accurate results on BUN, Creatinine, SGOT, SGPT, BUA, Lipid Profile, Bilirubin, Amylase, Lipas, and Electrolytes like Sodium, Potassium, Magnesium, and Calcium.

We also have Cobas E4 11 for our Immunology Tests such as Prostate Specific Antigen, Thyroid Function Test (FT3, FT4, T3, T4, TSH), and Cardiac Enzyme Test such as Troponi T and Troponi I Quantitative. Cobas H232 is the machine we use for our Cardiac Test such as Pro BNP, D-Dimer, and Troponin T Quantitative.

Sysmex CA600 is our Hemostasis machine use for test such as Pro-Thrombin Time and Activated Partial Thromboplastin Time.

Sysmex Xs1000i is our machine used for Complete Blood Count or CBC.

Because at St. Frances Cabrini Medical Center and Cancer Institute, our patients are our first priority.
