SCIENTIFIC FORUM: An Opportunity to be with the Lipa Medical Society

As part of St. Cabrini Medical Center and Cancer Institute’s goal of spreading healing and love, our doctors together with our KT Group, Anatomic Laboratory, and Ms. Diana Ylagan of the Philippine Oncology Center Corporation (POCC), put together a dinner gathering attended by the members of the Lipa Medical Society.
The dinner meeting which was held at Lipa City last May 26, 2015 was led by Dr. Malen Gellido, our Executive Director for the Cancer Institute. He took charge of the overview presentation of the general services offered by the Cancer Institute and discussed an update on the latest Breast Cancer Treatment.
Dr. Rosalinda Pulido, our Assistant Director for Clinical Affairs at the Cancer Institute, also graced the event and outlined the available Chemotherapy services. It is to be taken note of that St. Cabrini Medical Center and Cancer Institute is the first major cancer Institute in Region IV, thus we never stop in the process of improving all our equipments and services.
Offering Radiation Oncology services, Dr. Conchitina Mendoza did the honor of expounding on the details of our services to the members of the Lipa Medical Society. St. Cabrini Medical Center and Cancer Institute is the only one of two hospitals in Region 4 that offers these services, the other one being Perpetual Help Medical Center in Binan, Laguna.
One of the flagship services of St. Cabrini Medical Center and Cancer Institute is kidney transplant and this was presented by Ms. Stephanie Enriquez, our Registered Nurse, during the dinner with the Lipa Medical Society Members. For your information, kidney transplant is included in the Philhealth Type Z Package and St. Cabrini Medical Center and Cancer Institute is an accredited Philhealth Institution.
